AUCTIONEER’S MESSAGE
This sale is the 9th in the series that we have conducted on
behalf of The British Pig Association and the catalogue looks to be
better than ever. No less than 50 different herds have entered
spanning 27 different counties in England & Wales. Grateful thanks
to all those breeders who have supported this popular event. Many
will travel long distances from as far afield as North Yorkshire,
Cornwall, Cardigan, Anglesey and Norfolk.
A wide range of pigs from 14 different breeds awaits the buyer with
show pigs, breeding gilts both in-pig and maiden and a splendid
entry of young boars.
The event enjoyed several good years at Ross-on-Wye but now moves to
Stoneleigh Park, once the home of the Royal Show, and becomes part
of Rare Breeds Survival Trust Show & Sale. We look forward to the
sale and the new venue and to seeing our many friends and clients in
the pig breeding world.
Food will be served from breakfast onwards on
Friday 30th in the Jersey pavilion up until Sat PM.
