2009 National Pedigree Sausage Competition

Congratulations to all the finalists. This years winner was Robbie Lang from Wales whose Pork and Leek sausage made from Tamworth pork was chosen as Supreme Champion by our judge Chris Hirst. Chris is a food writer for the Independent and the Economist and his latest book Love Bites - Martial Skirmishes in the Kitchen will be published in March by Fourth Estate. A special thanks to Keith and Val Brown who helped steward the Final. Several qualifiers came up to the final from as far away as Cornwall and Scotland. Seen below in the picture from left to right:
